Old Municipal Casino Building

The construction of the building, which was built with the sole purpose to become an entertainment building, was completed in 1910. It was built on the site of the demolished Jamii Jedit Mosque during the development of the City Garden. One of the first tenants was Rudi Schwartzballs, who provided a special program with female artists and dancers from and . Besides these events, the building also hosted all sorts of other activities, like balls, dance parties, celebrations, celebrations, and more. Just a few decades after its completion, the building was demolished again because the revenues were disappointing. This happened because of unscrupulous tenants and incapable municipal officials who didn't have the cost of furnishing, maintenance, and renovation of the building. The building was eventually demolished between 1938 and 1939, by an order that was given by the then-mayor .
