Suhindol is a city in north-central Bulgaria, part of Veliko Tarnovo Province. The first data on the existence of a settlement on the lands of today's Suhindol dates back to the Neolithic era. Suchindol was formed as a wine-growing center since ancient times. The natural resources of the region have a favorable impact on the development of viticulture and the cultivation of high-quality grapes. The wines of Suhindol origin usually carry the prestigious nuances of old wines.

The city is home to the first cooperative cellar in Bulgaria and the Balkans, which was established in 1909 as the Gamza Wine Cellar. Other sights in the city are the Suhindol Clock Tower, which was built in 1895, and the Saint Apostles Peter and Paul Church.
