Sofia is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria and was known in the past under the names Serdica and Sredets and has been inhabited since 7000 BC. Sofia is a city where you can see an Orthodox church, a Synagogue, a Mosque, and a Catholic church in close proximity to each other.

Sofia offers many beautiful and historical sights, like the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Vitosha mountain, and the Boyana Church, which is included on the World Heritage List, but also so many other less-known sights.
